Our services are tailored to individual goals and aligned with good clinical governance, risk awareness, and capacity building.

We work collaboratively with participants, families, Support Coordinators, and allied health partners to deliver supports that are safe, accountable, and focused on long-term wellbeing.

In-Home Individual Support

Our in-home supports are designed to help participants feel safe, supported, and empowered within their everyday environment.

We provide tailored one-on-one assistance that can include:

  • Daily living support

  • Routine building and structure

  • Assistance attending appointments

  • Meal preparation and cooking support

  • Emotional support and wellbeing check-ins

  • Skill development within the home

  • Support with hobbies and interests

  • Assistance building independence and confidence

Our team focuses on building genuine rapport while maintaining professional boundaries, consistency, and clear communication. Supports are matched carefully to participant personalities, goals, and support needs to encourage long-term, sustainable relationships.

We understand that for many participants, trust and stability are essential — and we prioritise creating environments where participants feel comfortable, respected, and understood.

Capacity Building Supports

Our capacity building supports focus on developing practical life skills, emotional resilience, confidence, and long-term independence.

These supports are designed to help participants work toward meaningful personal goals in a way that feels achievable and sustainable.

Depending on participant goals, capacity building supports may focus on:

  • Emotional regulation and coping strategies

  • Communication and interpersonal skills

  • Routine and organisational skills

  • Independent living skills (meal preparation, cooking)

  • Confidence building

  • Social capacity and relationship skills

  • Health and wellbeing goals

  • Skill development for greater independence

Our team takes a strengths-based and neuroaffirming approach, recognising that growth looks different for everyone. We focus on building on existing strengths while creating supportive pathways toward greater independence and wellbeing.

Community Access

Community access supports are focused on helping participants engage meaningfully with the world around them.

Whether it’s building confidence in social settings, exploring hobbies, increasing independence, or simply getting out and about, our supports are tailored to each individual’s goals and interests.

Community access may include:

  • Attending social and recreational activities

  • Exploring local community events

  • Visiting cafés, markets, libraries, or shops

  • Developing confidence using public transport

  • Support attending the gym or physical activities

  • Building social skills and community participation

  • Working toward independence goals

  • Developing routines outside the home

We aim to make community participation feel achievable, enjoyable, and empowering — while providing the level of support each participant requires.

Group-based Supports

Our group programs provide safe, structured, and engaging environments where participants can build confidence, social skills, and meaningful connections with others.

Our group-based supports currently include programs such as:

  • Dungeons & Dragons groups

  • Board game groups

  • Social skill development programs

  • Interest-based community activities

These groups support participants to:

  • Develop communication skills

  • Practice teamwork and collaboration

  • Build friendships and social confidence

  • Improve emotional regulation and problem-solving

  • Increase community participation

  • Feel connected and included

We support both beginners and experienced participants, with programs tailored to suit varying support needs, confidence levels, and social capacities.

Counselling

Beyond Daily Life offers professional counselling supports delivered in a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment.

Our counselling approach is grounded in empathy, evidence-based practice, and person-centred care. We understand that life can be complex, and we aim to provide a space where individuals feel genuinely heard and supported.

Our counselling supports focus on helping individuals build resilience, self-understanding, emotional coping strategies, and practical tools for everyday life.

Sessions are tailored to the individual and can be delivered in-person or via telehealth where appropriate.
